Massinga Pt II
November 2006

The centre's main job is to train community health workers, who then work in the feild
to raise awareness of rural people on health issues, and provide some basic medical aid.
Here is a view of the community of Tevele being trained. This trip had specific emphasis on HIV/AIDS awareness.

First order of business is to make the tea.

In this world of technology it is salutory to remember that vital life saving training does not need
impressive computer effects and dedicated training facilities.

Dramatization, and personal involvement is key. Ishmael is a translator for Chitswa.
Singing and dancing, although it may seem flippant, is a key way to provide a mnemonic for the training.

After the formal training delivery each participant presents their understanding of the material

A reminder of why this is important . Their future depends on dedicated people.
